An Indonesian Restaurant on a Greek Island!!!!!
WHY???
Long ago we came to Patmos island and we fell deeply in love with the island.
Slowly slowly we decided to spend more time here than in our own home country; Holland! We both worked more than 30 years in television branch and besides that fantastic profession, we always had a secret dream of having a small restaurant on that special island called: Patmos!
Staring at the sea and Lying down under the bright Greek sun can lead you sooner to the Old People's Home than you really want to go! Fortunately one of us had a greatgrandmother who was born on the Island of Java. This, in combination with our passion for Indonesian cooking, brought this restaurant into Life! So now you can enjioy our restaurant which we decided to call Γιαγιά ( the greek word fer " Grandmother " ) in honour of our greatgrandmother from Java.
We bring every year all the Indonesian spices to Patmos island and cook in a very traditional Indonesian style!
Come and discover the very tasty Indonesian kitchen yourself; you are very welcome, except on Wednesday night, we are every evening open for an exotic dinner!
